I brought a universal charger from ebgames and charged it over night, then when I went to play it in the morning the only button that worked was the 'a' button and the touch screen was unresponsive.
Please help

Hi!
The charger you bought could have been faulty and might have shorted or fried several components of the mother board. I'd suggest that you first take out the battery and put it back in. Then see if your 3DS works.
If it still doesn't, take it apart carefully using our guide and visually inspect the mother board for damage, especially in the charging port area.
