Why can't I hear the person I am talking to when I make a phone call?

Can you hear OK on calls when using earphones with the microphone attachment?

Can you hear OK when using the phone in loudspeaker mode?

If so it may be that the phone's receiver is faulty.

If not there is a problem with the voice reception circuit in the phone.

How long have you had the phone?

There is a 2 year manufacturer's warranty on the phone. If your phone is less than 2 years old, consult the warranty statement, found in the documentation that came with the phone (or find it online) as to what you have to do to make a claim for a manufacturer's warranty repair or replacement.

If it is out of warranty and you can hear OK using the earphones then fortunately the receiver is part of a module that is easy to replace.
