The brush won't spin on my Hoover Windtunnel Pro Pet
The brush won't spin on my Hoover Wintunnel Pro Pet, but the hose has suction. Does anyone know how to make the belt spin??

First are you referring to the brushroll on the vacuum or on the hand-held attachment?
If the vacuum brushroll, step on the brushroll pedal at the base of the vacuum. See the above link, go to page 6 and Figure 2.3.
If the hand-held attachment burshroll, go to the troubleshooting page in the link above on page 15, and follow the instructions for "Air-Powered Hand Tool brushroll won't turn". It is the second from the bottom.

I don’t think the hand tool ever works outside of lab specific conditions. I work in many homes and have never, ever encountered one of this brand/type working no matter how clean the lines. It is simply shoddy engineering and a waste and of plastic, Troubleshooting tips to:dr- 1- you’re pushing too hard (though they rarely turn with zero to 500 lbs of pressure) 2- clog- though they will not turn even when the lines are perfectly clear and the vac brand new and 3- check low suction info- and none of these tips will fix bad engineering, either.
I had the same problem. Tried the brush pedal and still nothing. Then I saw a note that said the brush will not spin in the upright position.
Lowered the handle, put the brush pedal in the raised position and it took off.

It is the brushroll. And that pedal has nothing to do with it. The vacuum has worked perfectly for the past 17 months, but all of a sudden quit. We did find that the belt has some holes in it, so I ordered a new belt that will be delivered on Monday. Hopefully that will do the trick
