Is my after market screen causing text refresh in my news apps to slow
I recently shattered the original screen on my iPhone 6 (it was a choice between my falling on the ground at 7 months pregnant or letting go of the phone to catch myself...baby still in one piece, phone not so much). I brought it to a place called "computer hut," and they replaced the screen. My friend warned me to check that my phone was fully functional, including the front camera, checked as much as I could in the shop without seeming ungrateful for the repair.
My phone seems mostly functional except for two things which I wonder if either or both are a result of the new screen:
1. In my NYTIMES app when I scroll down to continue reading articles the text is either very slow to appear or I have to leave the app and return in order to see the next paragraphs of text. I had a phone call with the folks at nytimes and we cleared the cache and reinstalled the app. The problem still persists.
2. If I want to tap the time clock to scroll immediately to the top of the page this quick stroke seems to work intermittently. I had to touch the time about 5 times until it registered.
Both problems to me would seem more of a memory issue than a screen issue. However my phone had no indication of slowing down prior to the screen repair and now 3 days after screen replacement it is showing signs of lag.
