Headlights won't lock in place!

I installed halos. A bigger cut was made and the headlights are in place, everything is in it's proper holes. But the clips does nothing. You can even pull it out with the clips down. Now if I apply and hold pressure to them, then the lights stay. What do you think? More modifocations on housing? Pro install? Or perhaps new clips? The clips look the same and no damage. I even twisted the things to expose a longer screw for holes.
