Why my rear camera doesn't work?

When I open my front camera it is working, but when I switch to back camera I only get black screen which closes after few seconds. Previously it has happened sometimes and then after some time it starts working again, but for a few days in a row now, whenever I enter camera, back one doesn't work. Solutions anyone?
