Why is the bottom of my phone overheating with black screen?

Hello everyone. I tried searching for the solution online for the past few days to no avail. The problem with my phone started a few weeks ago when I tried to wake it from hibernation mode, but nothing happened.

What happens is, when it was turned on, the bottom right of my phone overheats. Not just getting warm, but really hot. And the screen briefly flashes blue then remains off and unresponsive. The top of my phone remains at a normal temperature. I tried applying external cold temps to the phone via a container of ice and the phone booted up fully. It even receives texts and calls, but the screen remains off and unresponsive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I have a years worth of photos on here that wasn't backed up. Thank you.
