How do I install a printer driver for an HP laserjet 1012

Download it manually using google and install, don't connect printer unless it says to do so.

I have an HP 1012 laser printer, it showed up on my computer as a storage device. Opening the storage on the HP1012 started an installation process that loaded the drivers enough to get it to work.
