bottom side- 4 Phillips head and two security screws -open the security screws by grasping with pointed nose pliers and rotating

next step - 8 screws holding the canister onto the mixing deck open the door and with the mixing bin removed, you see the “shell” -remove all 8 screws holding this down

pop the plastic connectors holding the top plastic shroud to the base -careful note*** the buttons and display are connected from the top to the base

using a straight edge, I was able to remove the glue holding the plug for the top and then unplug the connector to free the top from the base

there are 6 screws in the base holding the mixing plate down 2 are kind of hidden between the motor and the starter capacitor —further note, you need to remove the screw for the black, rectangular starter capacitor to access the mount screw underneath

once the six screws are released, access to the underneath is fairly easy there are 4 round plastic “guides” at the corners -careful not to lose those

you can now turn the deck to access the belts and perform the replacement

This was very close to what I had to do. A couple of extra notes:

- The safety screws are the ones that are opened by a u-type screwdriver (U2.6)

- The 8 screws in the bottom of the bread "tub" may be a bit rusted so put on some penetrating oil to prevent camming out the heads (like I almost did).

- You will also need to remove the screw holding the element to the side. Easily done with a stubby screwdriver

- I was able to get away with not ungluing the plug. You can leave it connected, but you will have less space to work with when unscrewing the mixing plate (especially the one between the motor and capacitor?).

- I did not need to remove the screw for the black, rectangular starter capacitor in mine.

Hello, you have 4 easy screws to open in the bottom of the machine but 2 other screws need a special screwdriver (screws have 2 holes in the head). This is the easiest way to do it. The other option, is to open about 10 screws from the inside of the machine so as you can access to the bottom and reach the belt. You should be very careful if you choose this option because the srews are placed in a very tight place, you may need a long screwdriver and be careful with the wires of the electronic card. I tried it. It works but I need to buy the belt. Good luck:)

I had un-screwed the 6 screws (4 normal cross + 2 U shape) from the bottom.

I had tried with flat screw driver, but the lower part is still tightly attached to the main body. Any tricky thing I have to be aware of ?

Thanks

Using a small drillbit I drilled around the base 3/4 of the way, so about 50 tiny holes, joined the holes with a hacksaw blade / &moving drill between holes v carefully. Don’t bother trying to open all of bottom it’s screwed in inside as well. By pulling back hard white base plastic around belt (the plastic that sits higher) you can access the belt leaving the rest of the plastic intact and can keep all the base on .I purchased a £2.72 belt from eBay perimeter 537 mm 8 mm width 3 mm tooth width. It’s coming from China free postage . Search eBay for “automatic bread maker machine conveyor belt band strap perimeter”
