Phone has lost my contact numbers

If you have set up gmail, hotmail, google, etc. any other accounts on your phone, they may be syncing there. That's where I found some of my missing contacts. Somewhere along the way in your contacts you will notice 3 vertical dots in the upper right hand corner, tapping those will bring up the choices as to which contacts you want the phone to display. Also a search of the person should find them but be it must be typed the same way you input. If you can't find the dots, try putting in a new contact, the phone should offer you a choice as to where you want to put the contact in. Hope this helps some. Hate this phone!
