When I charge my phone, it just sits at 3% and the battery percentage does not increase. My phone also randomly restarts. What do I do?

A couple questions: does the phone get hot before it shuts off? How long have you had it? Has it been damaged or repaired?

Have you tried putting the original battery back in the phone and trying that?
