Why can't I get in my rca tablet?

It seems as though the digitizer (touchscreen) may have a loose connection or is faulty.

To gain access to the tablet try connecting a USB mouse via an appropriate OTG (On the Go) adapter cable.

By clicking and holding the mouse buttons etc, you should be able to navigate through the tablet.

You can also try connecting a USB keyboard the same way (after you have got in using a mouse) if you need to type anything (obviously you have to remove the mouse and replace with the keyboard) Be aware that for some reason not all USB keyboards will work this way.

Be aware that the tablet's battery will discharge quicker because it is supplying power to the mouse.

Before you decide to buy the digitizer, try pressing the reset button on the back of the tablet to see if this restores the digitizer function.

Make sure that if you have accessed the tablet with the mouse that you have saved all your data as a reset might erase it and restore the tablet to a factory default condition (not sure of this but be aware of the possibility that it may)
