Other person cant hear me when my phone is in speaker mode

Device - BLU VIVO 5 Smartphone

I have this problem since I bought this phone. When my phone is in loudspeaker or video call, the other person cant hear my voice well - I have to shout out loud, even that doesn't work. When I talk without speakerphone or video call, there's no problem hearing me by the other person.

I had posted this question before, but it was unanswered so posting again.

Thanks for any possible help.

That isn't a network problem. It's that the phone's mic sensitivity isn't turned up when you switch to speaker phone. We need to figure out if it's hardware or firmware.

I don't think its network problem. My wife uses the same network (on a different phone) and is completely audible in speaker mode. I really have to should very loud when talking in speakerphone, which is very frustrating. Because I often do video calling , I will either have to fix it or get a new phone soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright, It's one of two things.

A. The secondary mic(s) which ar normally used for speaker phone aren't correctly installed, or

B. Phone firmware bug. Factory reset should fix this, if not, sending it in for repair will be necessary.

Since your phone should be covered under warranty, BLU should repair it for free. First try the factory reset, then contact BLU CS and state your problem, telling them you already tried the factory reset. They'll replace it or fix it free, except maybe for shipping.

Thanks George. I am taking my phone back up to try factory reset and I hope it works because my phone has passed 1 year so any warranty may not be valid. In that case, I hope to be able to repair it. I'll post you in couple of days.
