Why the monitor has low bright and resolution after long time?

i had some monitor in long time, LG monitor , laptop hp, my question is :

why the monitor has low bright and resolution after long time?

for example hp probook 4530s is reduced bright after 4 years old,or LG monitor is too after long time, it is not have bright same first day?
