scanner seems to not work, prints ok. very light print from scanner
printer is working ok, but when scanning, only prints very lightly, and only part of the page, can this be the light? ran a test and printed fine.

treasuresofthevalley , A surge protector can possibly cause this issue, unplug from surge protector and plug directly into wall outlet if not already. Use the trouble shooting link below, may help your issue. Good luck.
