MacBook Air 11" keeps shutting down and does not reboot

My Macbook air 11" Mid 2012 keeps shutting down and then when I try to reboot it does not come back, the power button does not respond at all.

After a couple of hours it sometime boots and takes me to the login but shuts down shortly. Sometimes it does not just want to boot at all.

The device is charged to 95% and have tried the same with power connection on as well.

The one time I was able to fully boot it in the last 2 days, I ran a full apple hardware diagnostics for over an hour and it reported no error codes or failures.

Remove the bottom cover, check to see if there is any visible liquid damage. If there is not, remove the battery, disconnect the keyboard (plugged into the trackpad), reconnect the battery and then plug in the charger.

The MacBook will hopefully turn on by itself. Leave it running, and see if you experience the same issue as before. If you have an external keyboard, you can reassemble the MacBook (leaving the keyboard disconnected) and use it, to see if it is fine.

If it is working fine, the issue is with the keyboard itself, sometimes the power button will shut down the Mac if it has suffered minor liquid damage.
