Why does my PlayStation 2 need weight on top of the disc tray?
For my PlayStation 2 to pick up that a disc is in, I need to put a lot of weight on the top back middle of the disc tray when the tray is closed, is there anyway I can fix this problem?

you have two posabilities,
1) Either replacing or realigning the Optical drive,
