I can't get my Visual Land to turn on

Hi,
Do you get any indication on the tablet when the charger is connected and switch on?
Try performing a hard reset to see if this resolves the problem.
Be aware that a hard reset will erase all your User data and downloaded apps. It will restore the tablet to its' factory default condition. It will be like when you first bought it.
1. Make sure the unit is powered off.
2. Press and hold the "V+ or V- BUTTON" and the "POWER BUTTON" simultaneously for 15 seconds.
The Android recovery screen will appear.
3. Use the "VOL+ BUTTON" to scroll down to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" then press the "POWER BUTTON" to select this option.
4. On the next screen, scroll down to "Yes -- Delete all user data" and press the "POWER BUTTON."
5. Then select "Reboot System Now" again using the "POWER BUTTON"
The tablet should now be back to it's factory settings and you should be able to access it once again.

There should be 2 buttons on the top of the unit. If you have open slots they must have been removed.
Here is an image, just to avoid any confusion.

If they are missing, how do you turn the tablet on, if you can that is?
If you cant turn it on due to the missing buttons here is a link to the Ifixit guide to repair the tablet.
I cannot find any replacement buttons parts online for the tablet and I don't know if it is worth it to you or not but here is one option that you may wish to consider. There are faulty units available on places such as Ebay etc. that you may wish to purchase to scavenge the parts from, if the price is acceptable to you that is. Then use the Ifixit guide to repair your tablet.

Is this the 2 buttons on top of unit, have none there, open slots
i did this and I got e:failed to mount/system invalid argument..... e:cant open /casche/recovery/log and others

Have you got an SD card inserted at all? If so try removing it and then try the hard reset procedure.
Try this variation and see if it works
1. "Press and hold" the Volume + button before you press and hold the Power button.
2. Then holding both button simultaneously wait for the startup screen
3. Keep holding the buttons till you see the start up screen then release the buttons.
4. Press Volume up five times when you see the android with an exclamation to reveal the recovery menu.
5. Press Volume down to move on the menu and power button to select.
6. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
7. Select Yes- Delete all user data.
8. After the wiping select Reboot System Now.
Hello. I got my tablet from my mom as a hand me down but when I was messing with the feature. The tablet stated acting buggy, like it would register my touch a second after I pressed it and freezing. When I tried to reset it, it just blinked like crazy for a few minutes then cut off entirely and I haven't been able to get it to turn on. Did the motherboard fry or something?

If the tablet is giving no indication that it is being charged despite trying several chargers then it will have to be opened and the charge port’s connection to the motherboard checked and tested to make sure that it is OK and that the port connector itself is OK.
If you can get power to the motherboard then further testing is required to find out why the tablet is not charging.
Here’s the ifixt Visual Land Prestige 10 guides, that will help you to gain access to the motherboard so that the charge port can be tested etc.
Hopefully a start.
