I've had this problem for awhile now, my tablet just won't charge or turn on. I've tried everything! I've pushed all the buttons, I've left it plugged into its charger for 3 days so far. It just crashed and i got the black screen of death! I've plugged it into my computer too, but didn't even get a Samsung flash. If anyone has ideas on what to do, i would greatly appreciate it.

did you try another cable? maybe its the cable..next you have to check your port (and for that you have to plug another cable,if it doesnt work ,it means that your port have some kind of problem .).
Also check your battery if its okay..Sometimes the battery may expand

Yes i have tried different cables and charging blocks, i'm going to try taking out the battery soon, but i'd rather use that as a last resort. Thanks though

Hello Sierra, When you last had your tablet working, did it fade slowly into the darkness, or did it suddenly shut off and now won't turn on or charge?

If it suddenly shut off that makes things a little more difficult. Troubleshooting the problem requires some spare parts. Basically remove each part one at a time and plug in a known good one, piece by piece. I would start with the battery, and move to the charge port after that.

@crackatit I'll give it a shot, i was just hopping i wouldn't have to take apart my poor tablet. Before i do though, is there anything else i could try?

If it's not getting recognized by a computer, and not responding to a reset it sounds like hardware issue to me.
