That is a DC adapter. The Carousel pictured uses a 6V AC adapter.
Just wanted the adapter but a load of bullshit when you checked the link , ffs

I live in New Zealand and have had my amazing Carousel for 18 years but unfortunately didn’t plug in properly and now adaptor not working. I now need above adaptor, where can I buy one on line. Pat Dillimore

I have the same problem. I have a Mr. Christmas Grand Carousel Item #79182W34. Says AC Adaptor Output: AC 6V 1200mA. Cannot seem to find anything compatable. Not sure how to tell how to match the connector either. Can anyone help?
