That is a DC adapter. The Carousel pictured uses a 6V AC adapter.

I live in New Zealand and have had my amazing Carousel for 18 years but unfortunately didn’t plug in properly and now adaptor not working. I now need above adaptor, where can I buy one on line. Pat Dillimore
