Touch gets wird when the screen is connected to ground

A waterdamaged iphone 5 came in. I removed the shields and cleaned the board with ultrasonic. I replaced the screen and the phone now turns on and works okay. Allthough the touch wasn't great. It shutters and the screen freeses sometimes. It seems to help by restarting the phone, but only for a while. One thing that also solves the problem, is by lifting the screen out of the frame so the screen dosent get contact to ground.

Is there somthing wrong with the screen (i don't have a spare to try out right now)

Or does it short out the board somehow.

The screen assembly may also have been damaged by the water. Have you removed the small parts to see if everything is okay?

The other thing to look at is the flex. There is a small black piece of tape covering up some connections. Sometimes this tape is not on properly or may have been removed. Look to this picture, it would be next to to the bottom left of the rectangle.

The whole screen assembly is brand new, with speaker, camera etc, plug and play. It worked perfectly on another device. I have checked the tape covering the connection. I think theres some short circuit in the motherboard.
