How do I replace the bulb for the HAZARD SWITCH ON THE DASHBOARD.

None of these videos are on YouTube any longer. All links say "Video does not exist." (as of March 20, 2017)

Changing the bulb is easy. Remove the clock assembly with a plastic spudger or a flathead screwdriver with tape on the tip (to prevent marring). Pop the entire clock assembly out of the dash bezel from the bottom edge. It just snaps out. Inspect the clips to make sure you did not damage or break any of them. (Probably not an issue - mine came out very easily.)

The clock bulb is the little recessed circle in the circuit board. Smally twist counterclockwise and it is loose. It can be difficult to remove, though; it hangs up on the edges of the hole it lives in. Be patient. (I understand that you know this. This is for future researchers.)

The hazard switch has two detent tabs, one on each side. Press them and push the switch unit out from the clock bezel from behind. Yes, it comes out toward the front. Reinstall it by pressing it back in from the front until it clicks.

[Note that both the clock and the hazard switch have wiring harnesses with detent tabs for removal, just like most electrical connectors in a car. You have to disconnect both to get the clock unit out.]

The bulb for the hazard switch is on one of the sides. I think the earlier versions had the bulb (same sort of socket as the clock) on the inside face. My 2001 has it on the outside face of the switch housing.

PLEASE NOTE: The hazard switch seems to contain the flasher relay for the turn signals. It may not, but I can confirm that if your switch is unplugged (or bad) you will not have your hazard lights (well, duh...) and you will also not have turn signals. They do not come on at all. If the flasher relay is elsewhere, these are wired up so that you have to have the hazard switch installed and working to have turn indicators.

The two bulbs are not the same. They have different ratings and the bases are slightly different in size. Here are the actual Honda part numbers:

Hazard Switch Bulb — 35871-S3N-901 (14v 60ma Neo-Wedge)

Clock Bulb — 35505-S84-B02 (14v 50ma T3 Neo-Wedge)

I hope someone is helped by this information. These cars are all old now and highly specific information like this is getting more difficult to find.
