it does not power up when I switch on
it does not power up when i switch it on. In other words nothing works .I charged the battery up still not working

thomas fraser, The battery could be faulty or the battery connections may need cleaned. Clean the battery connections, I use a ink eraser on a pen and blow out debri with compressed air and install good batteries. Link below may be useful troubleshooting. Good luck.

thomas fraser Agree with @lpfaff1 on checking the battery and contacts first. Make sure that you have a good battery. After that you will have to disassemble your camera and check the switch. The battery connects to the DC/DC converter on your board so that is where the trouble could be as well. There are are two fuses (labelled FU101 and FU102) on the circuitboard, check to see if those have continuity. You will need a multimeter for all the testing.
