Why is my tv going black and coming back on
Tv screen goes black and then comes back on.

Samsung TV's have an issue with the Side power botton and channel changer of their TV's. Try opening the Back of the TV with the power disconnected. (Use all safety precautions.), and disconnecting the side card for the internal power button and channel changer. Put the back back on plug the TV back in and use your remote and test the TV. If that fixes the issue then you are good ... Just do not lose your remote....

Sounds like a power issue then. How old is it? Might be time to get a New TV then.
Hi, Does the TV switch off and then come back on again or does only the picture go from the screen? If only the picture goes do you lose sound as well when this happens? Does it happen only on one input? The more detail that you can provide as to what happens, for how long it happens, what you have tried to do etc., the more relevant the answers will be.

I have this issue, different model but same brand TV. If his issue is like mine, the TV will just randomly shut off ,screen and sound, then comes back on like nothing happened after maybe 10 -15 seconds..Long enough for me to notice, search for the remote, and by the time I find it the TV is back on. Lol.
Doesn't seem to be input dependent, but I haven't paid that much attention to it. I thought maybe it was auto-updating, but I don't get a warning on the screen beforehand or anything like that.

If possible take notice of the power light on the TV. Check to see if it goes out when you lose sound and screen or if it stays on. How frequently does it happen?
