Do iPhone LCDs fit flush into glueing molds?

Hello everyone.

I've been getting into glass-only repairs of iPhones lately, and I've recently bought myself a mold so I can glue the new glass and the cleaned lcd together with loca. What I noticed though, is that all iPhone 6 LCDs don't fit perfectly into the mold, it sticks up a little and when putting the glass in, it has very little room at the sides to stay in place. Is it possible my mold has a defekt and the LCD doesn't go deep enough into it?

Also by the way, can tape or the mold keep loca out of the backlight, and does all of this woke on iPhone 6s screens too? (Because of 3D Touch and so on)

I would be very thankful for any tips and answers!

iPhone 6 LCDs are only .035" high. They don't need much room.

I am very concerned about you doing glass only repairs. How are you attaching the frame? How is your quality compared to OEM?

I personally would not set expections on this being a long term venture. Glass only, especially on iPhones, is not a quality solution. Yes its cheap, but it looks horrible and will not last like OCA refurbishing.

Why would it look horrible? If I put my time into it, aligning everything, seal the backlight up before glueing and using strong glues to put the frame on the glass, what should look bad on it? Well anyways, thanks for answering my main question, as I thought iPhone 6 LCDs were much thicker.
