Power jack won't charge when running intensive programs
As of recently my MSI GE70 20C/20E has begun to fail to charge when I turn on an intensive game like Fallout 4. It used to be that I would turn the jack to a certain angle or put something under it to keep it a certain way and it would charge like normal, but lately even that has failed to work. On inspection, the plastic around the port is partially warped from heat (The plug in is right next to the heat vent), and the jack's tip is somewhat blackened and damaged. I've changed the charger cable and blown out the dust on the inside of the computer with a can of compressed air, blowing into the ports and vents to get everything I could, but it didn't fix the problem. It does, however, seeming to be overheating significantly less. I'm assuming this means that there are wires between the port and the battery that are melted or broken loose. Is this the case, or is there some unforeseen issue?
