Hi,

Are you referring to the buttons to the right of the LCD display?

You may need to clean the contacts and the buttons using a Q-tip moistened with Isopropyl Alcohol 90%+

Here is a link which shows how to dis-assemble your camera. At 53 seconds into the video the back is off and the buttons on the back casing and the button contacts on the circuit board are accessible. You shouldn't have to dismantle past this point.

Here is a link to a video which shows how to clean the contacts for a remote control unit. It is handy as it shows how to clean contacts. The principle is the same for the contacts in your camera. Fast forward to about 5:00 minutes into the video and start watching from there to see what to do.

If some buttons still do not work properly after you have done this, the conductive contact material may have worn off from the underside of the button.

The best way to fix this is to get a replacement button pad.

If none are obtainable you can try buying some conductive glue or paint and lightly applying it to the button face. I have had mixed results using this method. In any event it never lasted for long.
