110.28837700 washer fills with a hot water rinse or no water and sometimes fills with cold like it should. have replaced the solenoid fill valve and the temp switch. Any solution?

Is there a Water Temp selector button toward the mid-right side of the panel? After selecting a fabric cycle on the dial, but before pressing Start, press the button repeatedly to select the desired temperature. Some selections may be unavailable with certain cycles. Before pressing Start, the currently-selected options are lit green, other valid choices are amber, anything unavailable is not lit.

This is a not a digital model. Timer is mechanical along with the rest of the console.
All rinses are supposed to be cold. Intermittently, I get hot water rinses or no rinse, and sometimes I get cold rinses. sometimes.

@avdrumdad, the solenoid they're referring to is on the water inlet connector where the water hoses plug into the back of the washer. If you have the same model as the original poster, then this would be the correct replacement.

Note that the solenoids for the hot and cold inlets are sold as a single assembly, so you can't replace just one.
Of course, if you have a different model then you'll have to look up the specific part for yours, but it'll almost certainly be in the same location.
