My wifi is not working their is hardware problem can I fix?

I have the same phone you do. Tap on settings (the gear). Tap on wifi . At the top left of this screen, it will say on or off . If it says off, you will find a switch at the top right. When you find the switch, tap on the left side of it and the switch color will change from gray too teal and you will see the left top change from off to on.

The networks where you are should be listed below on. Scroll to your network. If it say connected below it, you are good to go. If it does not, tap on it.when you tap on it, a screen will appear with your net work name at the top. Under that there is a place to type your password. After you type your password in tap connect. This should connect you to the Internet . If the Internet is on but does work, go back to settings and tap on it. Scroll to more and tap on it. You will see airplane mode at the top left. At the top right you will see a switch like the one before. If it is gray, tap on it and it will turn blue which means it is on. Once, I accidentally turned my phone to airplane mode. I could not make or receive calls even though it said my internet and phone networks were on. I know what a bummer it is. I hope this works for you.
