Can I get my information from iPhone which fell in the sea?

I dropped my phone in the sea about 1 month ago and put it in rice for a day. After 2 weeks of leaving it I took it to Dubai and had them look at it. They said it could not be fixed due to the salt that ate up the important parts. I'm not 100% sure what they meant. I am just wondering if it is still possible to get my pictures off of my phone. I had such amazing photos that I would do anything to get them back. Please help.

@claudiopasquini sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if you cannot get your phone to power up again and /or being recognized by your computer, then there is no way to get anything of this phone. This is due to the memory IC's being decrypted to other IC's on your board. The only way will be to resurrect your phone, at least long enough to get your pictures.

This could have possibly being avoided if the phone would have been cleaned properly righht from the beginning. Rice does not do anything. It does not stop corrosion and does not repair any phone. Check on here for more info.

Depending on your location, you could try and send it off to someone that does board level repair and data recovery. Otherwise, your files are all lost.

Wow. Thank you for your input. I guess it was meant to be. I will try to send it to someone in Johannesburg as it's the closest place for me to get it fixed. Hopefully, I can get some photos. Once again, thank you for your time and honest truthful opinion.

If your device was set to backup to iCloud then there is a full backup of data & settings. With a new iPhone it’ll offer iCloud backup for recovery. Some info, contacts & calendar for instance as well as some docs can be viewed at iCloud.com
