My iPod wont turn on?

When i plug in my ipod it turns on and charges but i cant do anything because it tells me its okay to disconnect. When i disconnect it goes to a black screen and wont turn on without it being plugged it. I dont know what the cause is.

Either your battery need to replaced or the connector is loose. If the connector is loose it it need to be replaced or desoldered. Send it to a repair shop OR fix it your self.

What I would do is to diagnose the problem by dissasembling it.
