My headphones broke inside my iPod how do I get it out?
I went to take out my headphones and the tip broke off inside my iPod and now I have no way of listening to anything the sound does not work.... I need help ASAP!!!
Alright cheeseman ;>), here's an upvote!
Also this tool is pretty handy.
Use a very powerful magnet and a pair of pliers. Have something hold the iPod upright with a magnet in one hand and pliers in the other. Get the magnet to pull it out partway then grab it with the pliers. If that doesn't fix it, use ifixit's teardown to get the back case off. Once it's off, there should be an opening at the back of the headphone jack you can put a toothpick through. Put a toothpick in the hole and push it out. Hope this helps!
Did this answer the question? Did it help?
I'm pretty sure a VERY POWERFUL magnet would mess up wires/metal parts in the iPod.
Try using a vacuum cleaner otherwise m, You may have to get the part replaced.
Lmao a vaccum cleaner?

Never get a cracked screen protector from a phone and cut it out on an iPod nano 4th gen and you dropped it my screen cracked bad and I had to peel off the screen and now there is nothing protecting the screen. When that happens you should buy a IPod Touch 6 gen if your old ipod breaks just in case if it breaks.
