Phone is not getting turned on

Hi I ve put my mobile on charge for a complete night (should be aprox 9hrs) , When i turned on in the morning i was not able to do so, So enquired with the near by local service centre (Not Samsung Service centre) they said the phone is dead and there is an issue with Mother board, I seriously doubt bcoz the phone is not even 2 yrs ols, can some one please help
