My screen can't slide open

I have a iPhone 6 and my screen does not want to slide open. I bought a new screen because I thought it was the screen but the brand new screen also does not work. I can reset or anything what's wrong with my phone?

it sounds like it could be the TouchIC chip, Ill leave a link to a picture of it, a way to find out if it is the TouchIC chip is by putting pressure, it makes the connection with solder points, so if when you put pressure, thats the problem.

The touchIC is the square on top of the sim card slot

Hi Antoinette , I don't exactly know what is going on your phone but I will tell you from my background of these devices what maybe fix this issue and make you figure out the issue. You can try this which is called a hard reset or something like this, turn off your IPhone, after your IPhone turned off hold on the Power button for 3 sec after this 3 sec passed hold on the Home button (now you will be holding the Power button with the Home button) for 8 sec after that 8 sec passed release your finger from the Power Button and keep holding the Home button for 15-20 sec and after this 15- 20 sec passed release your finger from the Home button (the IPhone will be like Off but it is On and in a Recovery Mode) keep your IPhone for less than 60 sec after that turn on the phone by this method, Hold on the Power button with the Home button until the phone On (the phone will take 1-3 sec to turn On). If you are not able to turn Off the phone due to the touch error of the screen press the Power button with Home button until the phone turn Off and follow that hard rest method from the step which after turning Off your phone. This maybe fix your problem. If it is not you will need to restore your IPhone using iTunes which will delete everything in it and maybe fix the issue if it's from the software. If iTunes restore didn't fix the issue, you will need to take your phone to a repair shop to check it or fix it on your own if you figure out the issue and know how to deal with it, It might be something going on in your logic board or something else. And If you had paid for AppleCare Plane and the plane still valid take your IPhone to them they will fix it for you for free if your logic board or the IPhone parts had something wrong in it. ( I think they will do so if the rules of AppleCare plane are OK with changing the screen on a repair shop that different than apple repair shop).
