1 Why won't my speaker work after replacing screen?
I just replaced a cracked screen on my iPhone 6s, but now the speaker isn't working properly. The sound is very very feint and it is a total pain. I am wondering whether or not I accidentally touched the gold parts of the speaker, or whether it is an issue with the connector cables. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Chances are the earpiece speaker isn't mounted properly behind the front display assembly frame. Double check the metal bracket holding the earpiece speaker in place and make sure the earpiece speaker golden spring connector things are contacting the gold connection points on the front camera assembly ribbon cable properly.
Also try reseating the front display ribbon connectors.
