1 wifi icon says X even when airport card is installed?
The wifi icon reads X even after changing 3 new airport cards. I've tried SMC ,PRAM and plugging in and out the battery to no avail. I've tried different configurations on the network settings too.
I'm stumped. Any help will be welcomed.
When you did the SMC you disconnected the battery and power cord? I only ask because I have had customers that only unplugged the power cord.

When you replaced the airport card, did you replace the flex cable as well?
I had the same issue before, and i found that the flex cable was faulty.
