iPhone 6 says " No service " or "searching"

I can not get my phone to get any cellular signal. I have tried everything on the software side of things and I mean everything. I know this is a hardware issue because for a while If I just gave my phone a bump, the cellular connection would come back on and I would have service. I dove into the phone and I disconnected all the cables that plugs into the logic board and even cleaned the logic board. I connected everything back on, still no service. I need some help and answers on what I should do to get this working on my own. It's got to be something simple. is it a simple process to replace the cellular antenna and if so where can I purchase? Could it be the RF antenna switch ?

Check the date and time. If the date and time are off, it'll cause this issue. I fixed an iPhone 5s that was set to 2027 that was constantly searching. I hope this helps.

Is there any update on this issue? I have the same problem and I know the problem is on the motherboard. It was bent before and probably the solder underneath one of the chip is not connected. Is anybody knows which chip is responsible for carrier network?

The baseband chip is responsible.

But...I don't think this is hardware. I can't prove it with data, only my personal observations. I took the initial iOS10 download on my iPhone 6 and I missed almost every single text and email while I was traveling for a whole week. When I got back home, iOS updated again because of known network issues. I took that update and still had massive issues with data and texts.

I switched over to another phone since I didn't have the patience to deal with it. Chances are setting it up as a new phone in iTunes would fix the issue. But...I can't say 100% because I gave up.

I honestly don't think there is a solution to this unless you know how to solder motherboard chips. I found several videos where they would solder off the bad network chip and put on a new one and that fixes the issue. I gave up on trying to repair this and just use the phone as an iPod. Sorry for the bad news.
