The Kindle Touch (D01200) is 4th generation of Kindle e-readers produced by Amazon. There is Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi/3G capability, all uploads are done by USB cable. It has 4 GB of storage and two months of battery life.

Why won't the battery take a charge?

Haven't used my device in a while and tried to charge it but it won't charge. Used two different chargers and still nothing.

How long did you try charging it for? How long has it been since you charged/ used it?

I charged it overnight. I hadn't used the Kindle in at least 6 months.

sounds like a charger issue

try a different high voltage charger

if that doesn't work then its the charging port

have it replaced asap
