Hi,
I have just replaced the touch ID flex ONLY of an iPhone 5s (I kept the original black button). When I am mounting it on the screen it keeps being pressed by the metal plate. For this reason obviously I cannot press it correctly. What have I done wrong?
I have also replaced the screen but I believe that should not be the problem

Hey there! A common issue is over-tightening the back bracket during reinstallation. I would try popping it back open, and loosening the two screws on the metal plate a full turn and seeing if that gives it more room to click.
