Coffee is overflowing from cup
During brewing cycle coffee overflows from the mug placed under the machine, and sometimes from out of the brew basket. How can I prevent this from happening?

Be sure to use the cup you intend to fill with coffee to fill the reservoir. By using the same cup you are preventing the addition of excessive amounts of water being put in the machine which will then be too much for the desired cup to hold. This can also be caused by improperly ground coffee. Set coffee grinder to automatic drip setting to get the necessary grit required for the machine to function properly.

Water from the carafe reservoir spills into the single cup reservoir so that every single cup from the single serve side overflows. Very irritating.
