I replaced the screen assembly on my daughter's iPhone 6 and everything works fine until I install the screen. When the phone is reassembled, it will not charge. I can charge it with the screen off just fine. I have gotten it as far as having one of the two case screws installed and it charges, but after putting the final screw in the case, nothing. Any ideas?

This may sound weird but it may have something to do with the charger port being dirty. Does the lightning USB cable plug in fully into the port? If not you may need to use a toothpick or something equivalent to clean out the blockage inside the charging port.
