Can't restore. DFU doesn't work.
A couple of days ago it started randomly shutting off and complaining that the battery was dead but when I plug it in it's at 100%. Now today it is in a reboot loop and I can't restore.

You may have a dead battery. Try replacing the iPhone 5 Battery using the guide here: iPhone 5 更换电池
