MBP boots, screen goes black, lights up after closing lid

Hello

I don't how to sum it up in the title ... hopefully some people are reading this :-)

I have got a MBP 13" late 2011 with 2.4GHz i5 CPU, 4 GB RAM, a SSD which has become a new LogicBoard because of the old one being broken.

I installed Mavericks while having an external monitor connected and the MBP being closed (external keyboard and mouse, too).

I disconnected the external monitor and now I got following behaviour:

If I reboot the MBP, the grey screen appears, the Apple logo appears, then the screen goes black - it lights up again if I close the lid once (it comes up in blue for a second) and shows login screen.

Is the "new" LogicBoard broken, too?

I cannot imagine this, but wondering about the issue.

Any suggestions how to fix? It does not really disturb, but it would be nice to have it operating in the normal way.

Thanks in advance,

Dietmar

Dear Dietmar,

Looks like you got a problem on Sleep/Monitor Lid Sensor cable or socket, that could happen if you (or someone) installed LogicBoard carelessly. New Original LogicBoard must not having any trouble except installed on wrong MacBook model.

Sincerely,
