How much ram could my MacBook Handle...

I have a Macbook pro 15" Non-Unibody (Early 2008) (15B42)

I very curious if my macbook pro could handle 4-6 gb and is it possible to use any DDR2 667 Pc2-5300 ram Third party ram...

If you can find ddr2 667 ram of 4gb dimm your golden as a 2008 would accept 6gb. But finding ddr2 with more than 2gb per dimm could be a trick. Make sure to match your speed for best results.
