1 Can't reinstall OS X Lion
I'm trying to reinstall a fresh copy of OS X Lion . After erasing hard drive. I did all the steps. And I get this error message saying " can't find installation info for this machine" contact AppleCare . I don't understand I have done a reinstall before and no problems. Do I have to go to apple or is this something I can fix.
How are you installing the OS? Are you booting up from the grey installer disk that came with your system or from a bootable drive with the OS installer on it?
Have you thought about upgrading to one of the newer OS-X releases? El Capitan being the latest.
