Why dose'nt my alcatel cell phone remeber my google acount

I rest my phone then it asked me my google account I put it in and did not recognize my pass word so I reset the pass word online and it still didn't work . what do I do?

Go into settings - add account

Select G-mail enter

Addr. And Password

This way account is associated with phone
