2 What can I do if my camera got wet?
I accidentally spilled a water pitcher on my camera. It won't turn on and I am worried I cannot fix it. Is there any way to revive my camera? I do not want to buy new parts unless I have to.

Immediately turn off the camera after spilling water on it and take the battery out using our Battery Replacement Guide. This will allow the camera to fully dry and to avoid any possible damage that water can cause to the camera parts. Allow the camera dry for 1 - 2 days before putting the battery back in and turning the camera on.
If the camera still does not work, the motherboard might be damaged. Consider replacing the motherboard using our [|Motherboard Replacement Guide]
