Why won't my playstation turn on after I open the case

I was attempting to clean laser with q-tip and alcohol and I heard a rattle noise so I opened I up and that is when i noticed the power button light sensor was loose so it took me awhile to find where it goes but i finally got it all back together and now it won't power on the red light doesn't come on when I plug in the cord.
