Hi everyone,
Never owned a Nintendo device before so decided to buy used from ebay.
After a month whenever I power the 2DS on the blue light comes on and stays on but both displays stay black (no back light, nothing). I have taken the whole thing apart right down to the displays, I have tried reseating the wifi card and no joy. Is there a way to test whether it is a display fault or a motherboard fault? Or should I just cut my losses and buy another?

It might be a display problem. The display might be broken. It will be fixed if you replace the display with a new one.

i have same problim i dissasmble it and i see the fuse is working
and i replace the display it working right
Thank you for the quick reply. How confident are you in this? As you use the word 'might' twice but then finish by saying 'a new display WILL fix this fault'

Not so confident. It's just that 2 S4s of mine had there display broken and what you said happened.
S4's? as Samsung Galaxy S4?
Yeah. I just wrote in plural.
